Amazon Prime Day is a great time to stock up on healthy essentials but, before you click "Add to Cart," there's something important you need to know.
Not all supplements are created equal and even your trusted brands can be fakes even if the labels look the same!
Here are four things to look for before you buy.

1. Buy from the Brand's Official Amazon Store
Whenever possible, purchase directly from the brand's Amazon storefront. Most reputable
companies have one, and it's the easiest way to make sure you're getting the real product.
For example Ancient Nutritions’ Brand store is here as opposed to buying the product from “Joes discount supplements” or the like.
2. Check the Seller
Before you click buy, look at the "Sold By" section. I prefer products that are sold and shipped
by the brand itself or an authorized retailer. If you don't recognize the seller, that's usually enough reason for me to keep looking.
3. Look for Quality Certifications
Good supplement companies invest in third-party testing. Look for certifications such as NSF,
USP, or other independent quality seals. These aren't guarantees of perfection, but they are signs that a company takes quality seriously.
4. Don't Shop on Price Alone
The cheapest option isn't always the best option. Read reviews, check the seller, and make sure you're comparing the same product. Saving a few dollars isn't worth compromising your health.
