Hi Friends,
I recently posted something on Instagram about a hard season in my family's life: two days after I gave my notice at QVC, my husband left our home for rehab. I was on the verge of unemployment, a single mom of three. Not my finest hour. But it was God's.
People in my life meant well when they told me there was no shame in walking back into my boss's virtual office and taking it all back. They were operating from a risk-management framework. I was operating from a stewardship-and-trust one. God said go, and I went. I couldn't see how it would work out — but that wasn't my job. My job was to obey and trust Him with the details, even when everyone around me thought I was crazy.
These days I run into people (and bots) who tell me I'm wrong constantly. It still surprises me that spreading hope through Biblical Wellness draws more criticism than reporting the news or selling products on TV ever did. But I shouldn't be surprised — when you're aligned with the identity, purpose, and calling God has for you, the enemy throws everything he has at you to stop you.
So remember this, whatever decision you're praying through right now:
The clarity you receive from the Lord is not a draft to be peer-reviewed. It is a direction to be walked.
Trust Him. Choose to obey His calling above all others — even when it's scary, even when you can't see the next step. Spend time in the Word declaring His promises over your life. Go for a walk and talk to the Lord. Pray circles around your family. Journal what He's saying to you. My Favorites This Week.
1) Magnesium At the end of every episode of StRest, I ask our doctors and experts for the one supplement they'd recommend — almost every time, it's magnesium. Roughly 50% of Americans are deficient, thanks to soil depletion, chronic stress, and the fact that absorption drops as we age. Qualia Magnesium Plus is the one I take — it's 10 types of magnesium in one, supporting a calm mood, workout recovery, deeper sleep, and sharper focus. Get 15% off, a BOGO, and free shipping with code KERSTIN at checkout >> www.qualialife.com/kerstin
2) Sermorelin The Facebook haters went all out recently on a post I did about the peptide Sermorelin — so bad Meta took it down. Most didn't even read the post; they assumed GLP-1 and went after my body, my skin, my faith. Not all needles carry a GLP-1, friends. Over three years I've injected seven different IVF drugs, plus Vitamin D and B — Sermorelin is one more safe, doctor-approved tool I use to stay strong and cognitively sharp. And even if it were a GLP-1—which it is not—, that would still be my health path, prayed through and based on my bodies needs which is how you should make your health decisions. If a peptide like Sermorelin — or a GLP-1 — is something you're considering but you're not sure where to start or how to afford it, talk to the practitioners at Vivoro: https://vivoro.com/Kerstin50 — use code KERSTIN50 for $50 off your first month.
