Good morning friends,
This last week the Lord opened more doors in 5 days than He often does in 5 months. I found out I am one of 26 being honored with Philadelphia Business Journal's Women of Influence Awards. My new devotional book (launches Dec. 1st) arrived in hardback at my door.
I was asked to return to speak on Stress and Biblical Wellness twice this week on Newsmax. I confirmed I'll be headlining a large April women's retreat. I was asked to be on TCT next week to talk about stress, and my team wrapped up content for the first huge month of our new community (launching September 7th — more info to come).
God is continuing to say, "right this way Kerstin, keep walking through these doors I am opening for you."
Yet, I keep asking, "Really, God? Are you sure?"
My body is reacting with nerves and holding fear in my stomach. I have found myself in tears listening to praise music on the NYC subway, trying to reset my nervous system, and I'm working as hard as I can to identify where the doubt is being triggered.
Despite all His promises being yes (2 Corinthians 1:20), I still don't always believe the blessings will come to me.
My takeaway is that often in our uncertainty, we need to stop asking God to prove Himself again when the yeses are already sitting in our hands.
This week also saw some tough parenting and family moments — a broken dryer, teen and 10-year-old drama, exhaustion on a full day of QVC and shooting. I can hold the highs and the lows together and still give God the credit in all He is doing.
Today, right now, write down all the yeses God has given you this week and thank Him.
See the open doors and closed ones all as His provision in your life.
Love you, friend, and hope to meet you in our new community September 7th.
Be well, Kerstin
Listen up—You can take magnesium, not just by mouth!
You've heard me talk about oral magnesium over and over, but have you tried topical? You don't have to swallow a pill and hope for the best — you can rub it and the magnesium goes straight to the source!Magnesium counterbalances calcium, which is whats telling your muscles to contract, so when you're low on magnesium, your muscles are stuck getting the "tense up" signal with nothing to answer it. There's a nervous-system piece too: magnesium helps calm the receptors involved in how your body processes pain signals, which is part of why a lot of people describe a genuine, not-just-in-your-head sense of relief and calm after using it. My go-to is Asutra, and right now they're offering 20% off for all of you on Amazon! Shop here (my favorite is the nighttime oil and the roll-on) and use code KERSTINAUG26
